This will be our new go to spot for Peruvian food in the SGV. We all had the Lomo Saltado and we all agreed it's the best we've had. The menu looks good, I'm definitely coming back to try more of their dishes.

Came for father's day and Juan was amazing! Juan seemed to be by himself but he was very attentive with several large parties during lunch time! The food was tasty. We got the tallarines verdes con bistec, bistec a lo pobre, chupe de camarones, anticuchos tradicional, ceviche Mancora, parihuela soup, the pisco sour, and pisco sour passion fruit. Definitely recommend and will happily return!

I recently dined at Mancora Restaurant in Alhambra, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Located conveniently in the heart of Alhambra, this cozy spot offers a delightful taste of authentic Peruvian cuisine. The ambiance at Mancora is warm and inviting, with tasteful decor that reflects the rich culture of Peru. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of. The menu is diverse, featuring a wide array of traditional Peruvian dishes. I started with their famous ceviche, which was fresh, zesty, and bursting with flavor. The fish was perfectly marinated, and the combination of lime, cilantro, and spices was simply divine. For the main course, I opted for the lomo saltado, a classic Peruvian stir-fry with tender strips of beef, onions, tomatoes, and fries, all served over a bed of rice. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the portion size was generous. It was clear that the ingredients were fresh and of high quality. Another highlight was the aji de gallina, a creamy chicken dish with a delightful blend of spices and a hint of heat. It was comfort food at its finest, and I could see why it's a favorite among regulars. To complement the meal, I tried a traditional Pisco Sour, which was expertly crafted and refreshing. The drink menu also offers a variety of other cocktails and beverages that pair well with the food. Dessert was a treat, with the alfajores (delicate cookies filled with dulce de leche) being the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. Overall, Mancora Restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit spot for anyone in Alhambra. Whether you're a fan of Peruvian cuisine or looking to try something new, Mancora is sure to impress. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning soon.

Ordered Lomo Saltado to go ~$25 after tax. Insane. Roughly about 8 ounces of beef, maybe less, hard to tell with all the fries mixed in, just remember saying to myself constantly I don't think this is worth. Food tastes great. Service is great. Just pricing is insane for what it is. It was ~12:30 on a Wednesday, completely empty. Hope this place survives, only Peruvian food of its kind in the 626 unless you drive out to West Covina.

Great flavor but kinda pricey. We came on the weekend for lunch, were seated immediately and have very attentive service. We got two dishes and both were bursting with flavor. Tallarines A La Huancaine Con Lomo Saltado pairs the lomo Saltado beef with pasta in a spicy cheese sauce. Lomo Saltado beef is robust flavor, nice and juicy pieces of appropriately cooked beef. The Huancaina sauce is a spicy cheese, and is more creamy than even an Alfredo. The sauce thickness makes it stick well to the pasta. Tallarines Verdes Con Bistec uses the same noodles in a pesto sauce. I don't get to have good pesto very often and this dish was a treat. The steak was a thin piece with large surface area, and its flavor easily meshed with the pesto on the noodles. Only complaint is the price per entrees, which were $26 and 22 respectively.

I liked it. Good Peruvian spot in Alhambra. Inside is simple with a few tables. There's also a small covered patio in front. We got the tallarind saltado de carne and the tallarines verdes con bistec. So good. And filling portions. The tallarind saltado reminded of me chow mein. The tallarines verdes was a nice pesto noodles. I also liked the spicy green sauce on the side, great for dipping the meat. Will definitely be coming back to try more. If you're having a Peruvian craving, check them out. Service was good. Friendly staff. There's a small lot in front or another parking structure across the street.

Because of this place, I learned to like and really enjoy Peruvian food! The place is small and can be easily missed, but don't miss it because it is so worth stopping by for some delicious Peruvian food. They always have great friendly and fast service. The food is always on point and well prepared with fresh ingredients. I always end with a very happy and satisfied tummy.
